Barangaroo South Early Basement Piling
Project Outline
The project is part of the Barangaroo Development within Stage 1B and Block 4 & 5. Lend Lease contracted Avopiling Australia to build a portion of the basement foundation bored piles.
Scope of Works
The construction involves the installation of 22No-1200mmØ x 29.00m drill depth, 8No-1350mmØ x 24.50m drill depth, 5No-1500mØ x 21.00m drill depth and 11No-1800mmØ x 27.50m drill depth using segmental casing lengths up to 24.00 meters. Selected bored piles were designed to have sacrificial casings and plunged columns 22No in total. Drill depths ranges from 21.00 meters to 29.00 meters.
