Gowrie Gates Underbridge Renewal
Project Outline
The existing rail bridge at Gowrie Gates, Singleton will be replaced to allow widening of a section of the New England Highway and the construction of higher rail bridge head clearance. The project is to be undertaken by Daracon Contractors with of Australian Rail Track Corporation (ARTC) and RMS.
Scope of Works
Avopiling's participation in the project is to provide 2 piling rigs and 2 service cranes with 4 piling crews for each rig to work 24 hours shift. Avopiling was tasked to deliver construction of 4No-1200mmØ and 6No-900mmØ permanently cased piles to depth of 19.50 to 21.00 metres, 12No-600mmØ and 6No-900mmØ temporarily cased bored piles to depths of 19.50 and 17.00 metres respectively
