Project Outline
The job site is adjacent to the Sydney Olympic Park Ferry Wharf bounded by Burroway and Hill Roads at Wentworth Point. The project is a luxury property development that consist of three 9 storey buildings with 3 basement levels of parking.
Scope of Works
Avopiling Australia was awarded the contract by Dasco Australia to build a diaphragm wall retaining system. The diaphragm wall depth ranged from 14.00 meters to 18.50 meters, socketing in some instances 5.00 meters into the sandstone. Panels were 800 mm wide and lengths ranged from 2.8 meters up to 7.10 meters, with a total wall length of 330 lineal meters. CFA piles were also installed outside the perimeter of the diaphragm wall.
