Project Outline

Hexham Relief Roads Project is an undertaking by UHVA Upper Hunter Valley Alliance composed of Australian Rail Track Corporation, Leighton Contractors, Parsons and Brinckerhoff and KMH Environmental. The project involves construction of new relief tracks next to the existing tracks along side Pacific Highway near Hexham Railway Station

Scope of Works

In July 2014, Leightons Contractors Pty Ltd awarded to Avopiling Australia the installation of 900mm diameter CFA piles to depths of 30.00 meters for the Gas Main Protection Works and 1050mm diameter CFA piles to depths of 22.00 meters at the Train Crew Facility with full lenght reinforcement cages required in all CFA piles.
